Get real client IPs in dockerized php-fpm Friendica deployments

!Friendica Support !Friendica Developers

Hello there, this message will probably not reach Friendi.ca groups for whatever reason... anyway, here is a PR about that thing... I really want to see real remote client's public IP address in Friendica container app image, instead of docker internal/private IP address (meaningless).

(this time cc @Tobias ... if you are admin on Friendi.ca could you tell me what's wrong with my messages delivery please ?)

I tried both ! Admins@friendi.ca (no spaces) by using the publish in this group button on my instance, then using @ prefix instead of ! Using a regular post. I already subscribed to the groups before that.
Oh well it seems this time one message reached the group… why now and not for the last couple of days…🤔

@Ⓜ3️⃣3️⃣ 🌌 if you posted before to admin@friendi.ca, then you accidentally tried to reach the friendi.ca website and did not address the admin discussion group at forum.friendi.ca

Oops sorry I’m wrong in my reply quoting the destination handle: I mean like you said ! helpers@forum.friendi.ca (no space and forum.friendi.ca), the group name is generated automatically when I click publish on that group anyway.

I tried again just now to publish in developers group… I guess it’s a fail again , maybe it’s the message content itself.

Just posted another one, with log level = debug and a grep forums.friendi.ca on friendica.log ... nothing.

Here is the post URL

Note: I do see logs (start update ...) about this very reply and forums.friendi.ca in my log grep as I clicked preview (and send).

I will abandon publishing it to groups I’m bored of it 😮‍💨
